Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for regional and long-haul freight
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal route planning
- Maintain detailed electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT regulations
- Build client relationships through professional communication
- Maximize efficiency through proactive load planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Owned box truck (26ft+ box preferred) with current insurance
- Proven experience in flatbed/dry van operations
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Reliable communication device and smartphone with GPS
