Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across Texas and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, or team assistance
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all FMCSA regulations
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age with valid US driver's license
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and logbook entries
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety-first practices
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally and climb into trailer
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings/weekends
- No prior CDL required – we train from scratch!
