Responsibilities
- Execute local and regional box truck deliveries with 98% on-time performance
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and fuel savings
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load adjustments
- Manage inventory verification and proof of delivery procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean 3-year MVR
- Own or have access to a 24-26' box truck (2005+ model)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M+ coverage)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with reliable GPS and data connectivity
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
