Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Inspect vehicles for compliance with safety regulations and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route status and delays
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of recent freight driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Familiarity with NJ/NYC metro area roadways
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to handle cargo loading/unloading
