Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to various customer locations in the Raleigh area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic or physical signatures upon completion of the route.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, performing basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B (or Class A) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of local Raleigh, NC geography and traffic patterns.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
