Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and documents to various residential and commercial locations.
- Navigate complex city routes using GPS systems and traffic updates to ensure on-time delivery.
- Interact professionally with customers to confirm deliveries and handle signatures.
- Inspect vehicle condition daily, report maintenance needs, and ensure cleanliness.
- Manage paperwork, including delivery logs and expense reports.
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness while driving in busy urban environments.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone applications and GPS navigation.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
