Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with delivery schedules.
- Interact professionally with clients, answer questions, and handle routine correspondence.
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Prepare and verify delivery documentation, including signatures and bills of lading.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring weight distribution is safe and secure.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong navigation skills with the ability to read maps and GPS systems effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
