Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses efficiently and safely.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained vehicle interior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations during every shift.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or delivery discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps for route planning.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
