Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently across regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging devices (ELD) in strict adherence to FMCSA hours of service rules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Represent the company professionally while maintaining a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A (or Class B with Tanker endorsement).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
