Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers on assigned routes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of goods and accurate inventory handling.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and resolving delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate records, including delivery logs (DVIR) and mileage reports.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized, adhering to company appearance standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Current DOT Medical Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks during loading/unloading.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
