Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate quantum algorithms into machine learning pipelines
- Develop quantum-resistant security frameworks for 2026-era digital infrastructure
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices for quantum software development
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Published research in Nature/Science or top quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Demonstrated experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, color, or LDPC codes)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Experience leading technical teams and managing R&D projects over $1M
