Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods and cargo to designated locations within the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload merchandise efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging devices (ELD) in strict adherence to DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling inquiries professionally and resolving delivery issues promptly.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and fuel-efficient throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent commercial endorsement.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of local San Francisco streets, traffic patterns, and geography.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Proficient in using handheld delivery scanners and mobile apps.
