Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and documents throughout Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while maintaining proper handling procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Adapt routes in real-time to optimize delivery efficiency and avoid delays
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status and potential issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication abilities and customer service mindset
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps
