Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vans to transport goods and materials to local destinations safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks or pallet jacks, ensuring secure placement.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients at delivery sites.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle interior.
- Complete accurate delivery paperwork and log maintenance issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent commercial license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach and surrounding Los Angeles area routes.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
