Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans and delivery trucks to transport goods to and from customer locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Lift and load packages of varying weights using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, digital paperwork, and customer signatures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients and handling delivery issues with poise.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial driving or logistics.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes using GPS systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
