Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 12- to 26-foot delivery van following all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and proper lifting techniques.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures upon completion of routes.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the company vehicle.
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of packages.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Complete daily logs and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally in person and over the phone.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
