Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods, equipment, and personnel according to scheduled routes
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs promptly
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery interactions and problem resolution
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to communicate delivery status and address route changes
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience with commercial vehicles
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
