Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over various terrains and weather conditions.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
- Deliver freight to designated drop-off points efficiently and within strict time windows.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding load status and delays.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Experience with air brakes and manual transmission is strongly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
