Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and vehicles in strict accordance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring secure placement and proper weight distribution.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records in real-time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws at all times to ensure accident-free driving.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Drug Screen (or willingness to obtain immediately).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of cargo handling and logistics procedures.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
