Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe, legal, and professional manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
