Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
- Load and unload freight securely, adhering to weight distribution guidelines.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding traffic conditions and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and ELD technology.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
