Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and daily logs in strict accordance with DOT requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries, resolving any issues professionally.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Uphold a high standard of safety and company policy adherence at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents or major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of road maps, GPS systems, and local Fresno, CA area routes.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
