Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles to complete assigned delivery routes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are accounted for and handled with care.
- Verify delivery addresses and interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (delivery receipts, manifests).
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and returns processing.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of New York City streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
