Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations on schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo with precision, ensuring proper securing and handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally and resolving on-site issues efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable route driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and background check.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle troubleshooting.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
