Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to designated addresses in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in excellent operating condition.
- Customer Service: Interact courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any delivery issues professionally.
- Logistics Management: Update delivery status accurately using handheld devices and adhere to route planning.
- Asset Protection: Secure packages properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of delivery receipts and mileage logs.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to read maps and GPS navigation systems.
- Technology: Comfortable using mobile apps and handheld delivery scanners.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time, including weekends and holidays as required.
