Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses across Washington DC.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Interact professionally with customers, verifying delivery details and obtaining signatures as required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and expenses using our digital tracking system.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to solve problems on the spot.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile apps.
- Reliable access to a smartphone for communication and job updates.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
