Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial clients.
- Inspect delivery vehicles before and after each shift to ensure they are clean and operational.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic or handwritten signatures upon completion.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Collect payments and process transactions accurately using handheld devices.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery exceptions immediately to dispatch.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for GPS navigation and communication.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and digital transactions.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
