Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers in Arlington and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure accident-free driving.
- Interact professionally with customers, including face-to-face deliveries and phone communications.
- Inspect vehicles daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues before and after routes.
- Handle package handling with care, ensuring items are not damaged during transit.
- Update delivery status in the dispatch system accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic proficiency with handheld electronic devices for GPS and delivery tracking.
- Reliable transportation to and from the local distribution center.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
