Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout San Diego County.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of the public and cargo.
- Collect accurate signatures and proof of delivery for every shipment, maintaining digital logs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Interact with customers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Plan optimal delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any delivery issues with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable personal vehicle suitable for business use.
- Ability to use handheld devices for GPS navigation and delivery logging.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
