Responsibilities
- Execute timely and accurate package deliveries to residential and commercial clients within the Long Beach area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle interior at all times.
- Verify recipient signatures and handle packages with extreme care to prevent damage or loss.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices and GPS navigation tools to optimize delivery routes.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, ensuring high satisfaction rates.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major traffic violations).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for real-time route management apps.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent time management abilities.
- Valid auto insurance on the vehicle you intend to use.
