Responsibilities
- Pick up, sort, and deliver packages in a timely and professional manner.
- Verify the contents of packages against delivery notes and ensure signatures are obtained.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to find the most optimal routes.
- Interact with customers in a polite, professional, and helpful manner.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and tracking status.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for navigation and communication.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied schedule.
