Responsibilities
- Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in Washington DC and surrounding areas with precision and care.
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and provide excellent customer service upon arrival.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Utilize handheld devices for route planning, navigation, and proof of delivery.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery delays immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no major infractions).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to navigate traffic efficiently.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
