Responsibilities
- Perform safe and efficient local delivery of packages, documents, and parcels to residential and commercial clients.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure zero accidents.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and handling package concerns with courtesy.
- Inspect vehicle daily, report any mechanical issues, and ensure the truck is clean and organized.
- Accurately log delivery information into the company's tracking system (mobile app or handheld device).
- Pick up and sort incoming cargo according to delivery routes and schedules.
- Maintain a high standard of professional appearance and uniform compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong knowledge of the Fort Worth metropolitan area and surrounding roads.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with mobile GPS and delivery apps.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Must be available for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
