Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to various commercial and residential locations throughout El Paso.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic or written signatures upon completion.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure the safety of the driver, the cargo, and the public.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the assigned delivery vehicle.
- Manage time efficiently to meet daily route quotas and strict delivery deadlines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving any delivery concerns professionally.
- Inspect packages for damage prior to loading and report any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or standard state driver's license.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years (MVR required).
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
