Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods to designated locations within the Washington DC metro area in a timely and professional manner.
- Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues on the spot.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and submit daily reports via the company mobile app.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major infractions within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate complex urban routes efficiently.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone technology for navigation and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
