Responsibilities
- Efficiently transport packages and documents to designated addresses in the Colorado Springs metro area and surrounding regions.
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of parcels, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Verify delivery addresses and collect signatures or proof of delivery as required by the system.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately to maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, including the loading and unloading of cargo.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong knowledge of the Colorado Springs area and local traffic patterns.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use a handheld delivery device (tablet) for navigation and proof of delivery.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
