Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport time-sensitive documents and packages across Long Beach and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and professional demeanor
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adapt to changing delivery routes and schedules while maintaining strict time adherence
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and optimize routes
- Ensure all packages are handled securely and delivered in pristine condition
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and navigate stairs/uneven surfaces
- Proficient with GPS navigation and mobile delivery applications
- Strong time management skills with exceptional punctuality record
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Long Beach and Greater Los Angeles area preferred
