Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers to deliver freight on schedule and in pristine condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Manage and maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Secure cargo loads effectively and communicate cargo status with dispatch.
- Unload freight at designated terminals or customer locations.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Willingness and ability to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
