Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in all weather conditions.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages to residential and commercial clients.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance needs.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and other equipment.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while providing excellent customer service.
- Utilize handheld scanners to accurately log delivery data and manage inventory.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state license.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills, punctuality, and a commitment to reliability.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and scanning barcodes.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
