Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial clients in Oakland and surrounding areas in a safe and timely manner.
- Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance needs.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Manage delivery logs, update tracking information, and handle cash/card payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized loading dock area to streamline operations.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Proof of auto insurance and current vehicle registration.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
