Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial locations in Oakland and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are handled with care and arrive in perfect condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to minimize risk and ensure passenger/vehicle safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and answering any client inquiries.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and log accurate mileage and delivery information using our mobile app.
- Follow pre-determined routes efficiently to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption.
- Handle cash or digital payments accurately and resolve any billing discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major traffic violations within the last 3 years).
- Proof of auto insurance and current vehicle registration.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively throughout the shift.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone applications for route planning and reporting.
