Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in the Austin metro area with accuracy and timeliness.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure accident-free driving.
- Practice proper lifting techniques to handle packages weighing up to 50 lbs safely.
- Collect payments and obtain digital signatures when required by the shipper.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Resolve delivery issues and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of the Austin, TX road network and traffic patterns.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy packages and standing for extended periods.
- Proficiency with handheld delivery devices and GPS navigation apps.
