Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A/B) for local and regional deliveries
- Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation for timely DC metro area deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic paperwork
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch team
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- DC metro area navigation expertise
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
