Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class B) for local deliveries within 50-mile radius
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist in warehouse operations when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Availability for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Must own DOT-compliant steel-toed boots
