Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in accordance with federal laws.
- Deliver products to customers in a timely manner while maintaining a professional image.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT) on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor tasks.
