Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (flatbed/dry van) within 150-mile radius of Charlotte
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment (pallet jack, forklift certification a plus)
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Submit delivery documentation and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong navigation skills using GPS systems
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Previous experience with hazmat endorsement preferred
