Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles for local delivery routes within San Francisco County
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and delivery scheduling
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate hydraulic lifts
- Familiarity with San Francisco streets and delivery zones
- Basic GPS navigation and smartphone proficiency
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
