Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying delivery documents and manifests.
- Navigate local Philadelphia routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record and pass a background check.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns in the Greater Philadelphia area.
- Must be able to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs independently.
