Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (26ft box trucks) for local deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and manual handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time-sensitive delivery schedules
- Assist with route optimization and problem-solving
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic navigation knowledge of Nashville metro area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent customer service demeanor
