Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to customers and distribution centers in Denver and California.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securing of freight to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by representing the company professionally at every delivery.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws to maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb in and out of the cab, and work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Basic proficiency with handheld scanning devices and electronic logging systems.
